We are specialists in the field with a national Podiatry database
of both Private Podiatry practices
as well as Hospital Podiatry departments
Australia wide.
With a locum desk and a permanent desk, we can cater for
employment for Podiatrists seeking short and long term placements all over
Australia as well as skilled migration for international Podiatrists seeking to
come to Australia to work.
We welcome Podiatry candidates from
Australia, New Zealand and International applicants looking for
Podiatry jobs in
Australia to contact us.
Candidates from the UK, Ireland, Canada and Sth Africa
are welcome to apply.
International Candidates
- If
your qualifications are not from an Australian or New Zealand University, you
will need to undergo a qualification assessment from the Australian
and New Zealand Podiatry Accreditation Council to reach them online for more details about the assessment
process CLICK
HERE
This assessment is mandatory and a requirement before you can apply for work
in Australia.
Visas:
International Podiatrists looking to come to
Australia for work will need a visa. New Zealand Podiatrists can enter Australia
and work on their NZ passport. For all other nationalities, you will need a visa.
The most common are:
1. The working holiday visa
for
those under the age of 31 and from either Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland,
Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan and
United Kingdom. If you from one of these countries you are eligible for this
visa.
2. Sponsored working visa
- if
you not from one of the above countries or are over the age of 30, then you need
an "Employer Sponsor" to provide a visa for you to enter and work in
Australia. First, you need to undertake the qualification assessment. When this
is completed, contact us and we can try and find a sponsor for you.
Note: This visa ties you to your sponsor, it does not allow you to travel
and change employment in Australia on arrival. Most Australian employers will
usually require a contract length of around 2 years to offer a visa to
international candidates under sponsorship.
